Pro-Biotics 7x10 Plus is a Proprietary Compound of the following primary ingredients & activity:

• Probiotics used most widely and tested most rigorously include Lactobacillus species and the Bifidobacterium species.

• Probiotics are considered to be safe and effective for the prevention and treatment of antibiotic-associated diarrhea and infectious diarrhea.

• Good evidence indicates that probiotics, especially L rhamnosus, help prevent antibiotic-related diarrhea.

LactoSpore® Probiotic is an effective, shelf-stable lactic acid probiotic (Lactobacillus sporogenes) which produces the most beneficial L(+) form of lactic acid only.

BeFlora® Plus.

A proprietary blend of sweet fiber fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), derived from beets, mung bean extracts and potassium salts. FOS, the main component in BeFlora Plus. is found in trace amounts in certain vegetables and fruits. However, it is difficult for the average American to sustain a constant level of FOS from diet alone.

FOS is too complex to break down during digestion but when it reaches the lower intestine, it becomes a vital meal for the friendly and essential bacterial flora. It is considered a Pre-Biotic, because it is a vital food for intestinal flora and it is also considered an essential fiber, because it is digestion resistant.

Fibersol-2®

This soluble dietary fiber is a spray-dried powder produced by the pyrolysis and controlled enzymatic hydrolysis of cornstarch. It is considered a digestion resistant maltodextrin, which is readily dispersible in water, then appears crystal clear, carries no inherent flavor and does not thicken. It has very good anti-acid properties and can be cooked in foods, even at high temperatures.

Part of Fibersol-2®'s ability to increase pro-biotic levels of bifidobacterium in the large intestine is because a great deal is delivered to that part of the intestinal tract. It escapes digestion in the upper gastrointestinal tract and then is metabolized by the friendly intestinal bacteria in the lower tract.

Because of the slower absorption, Fibersol-2® has positive effects on blood glucose levels. It moderates postprandial blood glucose levels and lowers insulin secretion, which could reduce accumulated body fat. Studies also showed a reduction of fat accumulation in internal organs.

Concurrent findings indicate that Fibersol-2® improves carbohydrate metabolism, which affects serum cholesterol levels. It lowers total cholesterol by lowering LDL-cholesterol levels without a change in HDL-cholesterol levels.
