How the Alka-Pi Tourmaline Cartridge Works
NEGATIVE POTENTIAL CERAMICS (ORP): The Oxidation Reduction Potential "ORP" reading is an indicator of how bio-available and bio-absorbable a product will be in your body. The lower the reading below 0mv, the more ions are available for your body's metabolic functions. The ORP of PFL's Alka-Pi Tourmaline cartridge produces a -500mv or better, structured, ionized water!
Made of rare natural ore, negative potential ion water contains higher levels of calcium and can greatly improve conditions including diabetes, high blood cholesterol, fatigue, insomnia, obesity etc.
- pH value of negative potential water is alkaline which can balance lactic acid produced by exertion and to reduce other harmful body fluid acids.

PFL's Carbon Block filter simultaneously removes chlorine, bad taste and odor, and organic chemicals that contribute to taste and odor, while providing the particulate filtration and dirt-holding capacity of an efficient 55m nominal sediment filter. The extrusion process allows the production of a carbon block with more carbon, but a lower pressure drop. PFL's Carbon Block filters deliver extended life, while removing sediment, chlorine, bad taste and odor, and organic contaminants from water, aqueous solutions or suspensions. PFL's Carbon Block is also widely used in filtering organic solvents.
